Night third floor apartment burning. Night fire engines leave station fast with loud sirens. Men fight in smoke in burning building, fight on burning staircase. Night m/l/s fire engines arrive outside burning building. Clerk finds wife lying on her back, dead. Clerk seated talking to patrons in elegant speakeasy that was at beginning of film. Vanzetti shoots and kills crooked lawyer across table. Vanzetti caught by policeman who says it is murder.
